If you had a friend like Sule you would be truly blessed. When you need a Lawyer it is never nice but the process was like having your best friend stood at your side throughout. She ensured from start to conclusion everything was done in not only a highly efficient and effective manner but her level of professionalism and care taken is also nothing short of amazing. She had this wonderful ability to see the whole picture and be able to step back just enough to achieve the best result but still keeping hold of your hand so tightly you don’t feel alone in the confusing maze of Turkish Law.

My particular case involved inheritance law, a highly emotional subject but nevertheless still needed to be concluded. I was with a different Lawyer for 2 years who achieved absolutely nothing apart from charge me a very large fee and still asked for more! From outset Sule was very honest and clear with regards her fees and what that would include. She was able to explain to me the process clearly and also any requirement that were needed from me in perfect English so a Translator was also not required. Her promises were not only kept to but exceeded and the whole process which had already rambled of for years, was completed in a matter on months.

I would recommend Sule to anyone. She makes you feel like you are her only client which of course can not possibly be the case. There would I imagine be many Lawyers that have a profound understanding of the law but what makes Sule so special is she ALSO has a great insight that it is the complexities and emotions of life that is the very reason you are sitting in her office or sending her an email in the first place. Understanding this she can then use her expert and great depth of knowledge of the law to best meet your individual circumstances. I can not praise Sule enough either as a Lawyer of the highest calibre or as a true lady.

The only downside to Sule’s efficiency is I will miss her greatly.

Last year I found myself faced with problems relating to a villa I had commissioned to be built. I was introduced to Sule Beder, and without much preamble she got the ball rolling. In a matter of about 24 hours she managed to bring all the parties and to thrash out the differences between us. Although she was acting on my behalf she dealt with the matter very fairly. She managed to protect my already very large investment and the balance required to be paid. Whilst I was out of Turkey she continued to protect my interests and to ensure that the building I had commissioned was produced to the highest specification within the budget. She kept me fully informed every step of the way by sending me step by step photographs, which ensured that, back in England, I did not get stressed out. I was surprised at how easy she made everything seem. I consider her to be very clever and professional and, equally, emphatic and friendly. It was if one was going to visit one's best friend. She and her staff worked diligently and went far above and beyond the call of duty, for instance, driving me to select furniture etc. for my villa, something I would have found very difficult to sort out as I do not speak Turkish and not, like many others I have met, expected anything more for it.

A word I used when I was explaining to my friends about her is that she is 'ballsy' and says it like it is. I have recommended her to others and would recommend, to those who might read this testimonial, that to instruct Sule to act on your behalf on any matter while in Turkey is probably the best financial and emotional decision you will ever make. Following on from my testimony 18th May.
I had received the initial payment from the builders through Sule and we therefore had a final settlement we were still expecting.
Not only has Sule recovered all the final settlement money for me that was agreed and paid direct into my uk account,she has managed to negotiate a further "compensation" from the builder .

My wife and I, invested in an off-plan build in Turkey, in 2005, but were the victims of a subsequent law change that left us in a vulnerable situation. We sort legal assistance. Our first lawyer gave us false hope and tried to defraud us for her own gain. Following an azilname (lawyer change), our second lawyer (from Ankara) then badly deceived us. In addition to an expensive court case we also had a slippery builder - it was a nightmare.

By chance, in 2011, a friend recommended Sule. Suddenly, for the first time in 5 years, someone in Turkey actually cared about us.

At short notice she pulled out all the stops to resolve our situation with the minimum of fuss. She was totally honest at all times and whilst working within the law she showed great innovation on our behalf. The builder became fully compliant too.

Sule also persuaded the judge to reject our case, which ensured we could recover the maximum sum of money from the court. This took a while as the Turkish legal system is slow, but Sule was most determined in seeing this through (long after we had paid her our fee).

As foreigners in Turkey, we learnt the hard way what a minefield getting legal assistance can be. However, Sule Beder is an exception and a shining light within her profession.

On 24 May 2010 my daughter, Katherine, sustained serious injuries from a paragliding accident in Fethiye, Turkey.

I was given Sule Beder's name by the Australian Consulate in Ankara when we requested an interpreter.

Naturally at this time my family and I were extremely distraught. We arranged to meet with Sule at her office. She told us she was a lawyer as well as a translator and if we needed the services of a lawyer then she would be happy to represent us. Sule was a tower of strength and we would not have got through the whole horrible nightmare without her assistance.

Katherine needed a complex operation immediately and the doctor in the intensive care unit at Fetihye Hospital suggested a top orthopaedic surgeon in Konya.

Sule researched the surgeon's credentials and then contacted him to ask whether he would take on Katherine's case. He said he would and Sule then arranged for Katherine to be flown by air ambulance to Konya. Because of the language difficulties, Sule accompanied Katherine on the air ambulance and then returned to Fethiye the next day.
